Maria Ellis - the artist

I studied Graphic Design at the Cheltenham and Gloucester College of Art and Design.

The paintings showing currently in my gallery are bright, colourful contemporary flowers painted in acrylics on deep box edged canvas.

Colour is everywhere...
Red is a powerful colour: stimulating, lively and very friendly.
Yellow lifts your spirits and self-esteem.
Blue is soothing: light, soft blues calming, and strong blues stimulate clear thought.
